Serve with a simple salad. Use a non-creamy dressing on the salad.
This is a low fat nutricious meal that is very tasty!
- Any white fish fillet, ie Orange Ruffy, Haddock, Sole
- one lime
- apple slices
- herbs of your choice
- bar-b-que foil
Method:
- Marinate fillet in lime juice and herbs for about 30 minutes
- put slices of apple on the foil
- put fish on top of apples
- put apple slices on top of the fish
- wrap foil tightly
- cook on a medium flame
- fish is done when it flakes off easily with a fork
- discard apples - they were used to prevent the foil from sticking to the fish and it adds a nice mysterious taste to the fish.
